Sarah Michelle Gellar
Sarah Michelle Prinze, nee Gellar, /’gel@r/GHEL-@r; was born April 14, 1977. She is an American actress and producer. She was spotted in New York City at age four and made her television acting debut in An Invasion of Privacy (1983). After starring in the teen drama series Swans Crossing (1992), she was cast as Kendall Hart on ABC’s daytime soap opera All My Children (1993-1995), where she won the Daytime Emmy Award, Outstanding Younger Actress in Drama Series. International recognition was given to Gellar for her role as Buffy Summers in the WB/UPN television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-1903). This earned her five Teen Choice Awards and a Saturn Award. Her most successful films include I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Scream 2 (1997) and Cruel Intentions (1999), Scooby-Doo (2002), Scooby-Doo 2 : Monsters Unleashed (2004), The Grudge (2004), and TMNT (2007). [6] Gellar also appears in independent films like Southland Tales (2006) and Veronika Decides To Die (2009). She is currently the headlining the CW drama series Ringer (2011-2012), Scream 2 (1997), Cruel Intentions (1999), Scooby-Doo (2002) and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed (2004), as well as providing voice acting for the Netflix animated series Masters of the Universe – Revelation (since 2021). Gellar founded Foodstirs in 2015 with Galit Laibow, Greg Fleishman and her own cookbook Stirring Up Fun With Food.
