Miesha Tate
Miesha Theresa Tate, born August 18, 1986, is an American mixed martial artist. She is currently a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where she was a former UFC.Women’s Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a Strikeforce women’s bantamweight champion. Tate was vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked #10 in UFC’s women’s bantamweight rankings as of October 3, 2022.
Personal Life.
Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. She was born in Tacoma, Washington. She was a tomboy in her youth and often played on the playgrounds with other boys. Tate, a Franklin Pierce High School student, was interested in a sport and ultimately chose amateur wrestling over basketball. From her freshman year to graduation, she wrestled on the boys’ team. “I was pretty good at getting my butt kicked for the first few week. Tate said that she had no idea what she was doing. She described her experience in 2011. In 2005, Tate was in her senior year and competed for the girls’ state title.
Tate was a student at Central Washington University when a friend encouraged her to join the mixed martial arts club. “I went there, it was a lot of wrestlers. Tate stated that he was a good fit.
