Allie Gonino
American singer and actress Allie Gonino. Her roles as Laurel Mercer and Michelle in The Lying Game, both ABC Family series, are well-known. Gonino was part of the American girl group, the Stunners, between 2007 and 2011. Gonino is currently a member of the band The Good Mad. They were also featured in The Lying Game in which Gonino also starred.
Early life
Gonino was born in 1990. She grew up near Rockwall, Texas. Dr. John Gonino and Linda Gonino are her parents. They own and operate the Gonino Centre for Healing in Heath. She began classical violin and ballet lessons at the age of seven. She performed at numerous country music venues in Dallas-Fort Worth for most of her childhood. She sang, yodeled, played fiddle and mandolin. Gonino was interested in musical theatre during her high school years. She dropped out of highschool one month into her second year to pursue a career as an actor and musician in Los Angeles. She earned her GED at sixteen.
Career

Gonino began her acting career by appearing on television shows such as Unfabulous, Cory in the House and The Suite Life on Deck. After the release of “Dancin’ Around the Truth”, which featured the New Boyz, Gonino joined the Stunners, a girl group that was founded by Vitamin C.
Gonino starred in The Lying Game.ng, an ABC Family series that aired from 2011 to 2013. She was also cast in Geography Club, which co-starred Meaghan Martin, her 10 Things I Hate About You actress. She was also cast in the comedy-drama movie See You in Vahalla in 2013 with Sarah Hyland. Gonino also played a major role in the 2014 Sundance Channel drama, The Red Road. She was originally cast as Sam in Freeform’s fifth season of Baby Daddy in 2015. However, Daniella Monet replaced her in that role.
Gonino released Hollywood High in 2015, including the single “Vamp”.
